I am an Escalation Engineer on the technical support team. I’m available to concentrate on things that need more attention than the normal realm. I do a lot with servers and virtualization. I work to take escalations and am involved in implementation and installation of our UC product line.
Commitment, service, excellence.
Mobility projects have been a lot of fun. I enjoy implementing those.
Virtualization is an interesting trend for me. Virtual servers, virtual switches.
I would be touring the world in a band. I’m a bass player, I’ve played bass since middle school. My Dad taught me, starting out in church. I also play guitar and acoustic guitar. I play usually two weeks out of the month at church.
I like home improvement, woodworking. I like to make stuff. I made an entertainment center. In my old house I made window casings and curtain rods. I’ve remodeled two of my bathrooms. I love history and I like reading, I read a lot.
I’m really into historical fiction right now. The last book I read was part of an Arthurian history series. I also like science fiction and fantasy. I’ve read all of the Harry Potter books.
Puerto Rico. Was there for a customer install. Only there for three days, kind of a whirlwind trip, it was neat being off the continent and experiencing the culture. DC was one of my favorite vacations — Smithsonian, national monument, we went when the kids were younger.
We like to do puzzles together. My wife’s outdoorsy, we like to sit on the back porch and have conversations. We like to watch movies together. It’s harder to get everyone together now that they are older. One thing we are all involved in together is church.
We’re a big part of Falls View Community Church in Dayton, OH. I play in the band. Our oldest daughter sings on worship team, and my wife is on the tech team and runs the camera.
To fly. I very nearly joined the air force, with the intent to become a fighter pilot. I was in a relationship with my wife at the time, and decided against it. My dad used to fly as a hobby. Once, he knew my grandma was coming home from Greenville, and he flew the Cessna really low and followed her home. Later that night he called her and she said some crazy guy was following her flying a plane. I don’t think she ever knew it was him.
